The origins of the Group date back to 1871 and are of an industrial nature, in the construction sector.
In 1944, the company name NORBA appeared in Geneva and with it, activity in the real estate sector through a sister company Immopart Financement S.A.
It was in 1984, after the sale of industrial activities, that our current legal entity was founded in Geneva, and adopted the current company name NORINVEST HOLDING SA (NIH).
It was not until the end of the 1980s that the financial services division of the Group was established through Norfinance.
In the early 1990s, with the support of institutional investors, Norfinance SA was structured with a presence in the cantons of Geneva, Vaud, and Ticino, offering a wide range of services related to the organization of personal wealth and wealth management in particular.
Following the separation from institutional investors, the merger in June 2002 with Messieurs Cramer & Cie (LBVM) allowed the NIH Group to evolve towards banking services.
